This year’s mathematics & physics summer festivity will take place on Friday July 19, 2019.
The festivity opened with a lecture from Dr. Boris Mergell, Senior Vice President Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH. Dr. Mergell will talk about "Black Chili – wissenschaftliche Herausforderungen und Spaßfaktoren in der Gummiindustrie" in the lecture hall V38.01 starting at 16:00.
The traditional summer festivity for members, emeriti and friends of the faculty, will follow on the square in front of the auditorium at Pfaffenwaldring 53. The event will be opended with a speech from the Dean, followed by the award ceremony for this year’s prize for lecturers from the mathematics and physics student councils. True to tradition, J@zzrake.de provided the musical accompaniment for the summer festivity, and drinks and barbeque were also served.
