The end of 2021 marks the 450th anniversary of Kepler's birth. He was born on December 27, 1571 in the then free imperial city of Weil der Stadt. This is an occasion to honor the world-famous astronomer from today's Baden-Württemberg in all his facets with the planned exhibition.
himmelwärts is an exhibition project of the 5th Institute of Physics in cooperation with the Kepler-Gesellschaft e. V. in Weil der Stadt and numerous other partners. The exhibition will open on February 5, 2022, at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart, where it will be on display until the end of February. Further stops are planned afterwards.
