Seminar for school students which takes place biweekly and in two groups, one for classes 8-10 and one for classes 11-13. |

Group competition for schools in Mathematics and Physics which takes once per year at the Science Days of Stuttgart University. |
We offer an early study program for mathematically strong pupils in their final school years, offering the opportunity to start with courses of our B.Sc. Mathematics degree program while still at school.
Exhibitions, laboratories for students, and special support by the Department of Physics.
We offer an early study programme to gifted school students with above average achievements. Guided by student mentors early students attend courses on experimental physics and have a possibility to also take an exam at the end of the terms.
Every year we organize a Mathematics and Physics Competition for groups of school students in their final school years. Different schools compete against each other.
Both departments offer internships for school students (BOGY).

The department of physics provides
- information events and education for teachers
- assistance for maintaining scientific collections in schools
The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics also participates in Try Science and Girl's Day with its own programmes and is involved in the uniday and on University of Stuttgart's yearly Science Day.
Stuttgart-Hohenheim Kid's University regularly organises lectures for children aged 8 to 12. The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics is also involved here.
